As an Account Manager at Tarjama&, you will attract new clients for language services and technology, building solid long-term relationships to leverage upsell and cross-sell opportunities. As a requirement of this role, your duties will include market research,the development of business strategies and pitches, and the identification of business opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Business Development:
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients and partners to promote business growth.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals, solution demos, and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the value and effectiveness of our tailored language services and tech solutions.
Sales Pipeline and Metrics Management:
- Manage your sales pipeline and track key metrics related to business development initiatives.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management, suggesting improvements where necessary.
Cross-functional Collaboration and Innovation:
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial, operations, quality excellence, and technology experts, to design and implement innovative solutions that meet client needs.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, encouraging cross-functional coordination to achieve business objectives.
Networking and Industry Engagement
- Attend industry conferences and events in the language services industry to promote the organization and network with potential clients and partners.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, expectations & satisfaction.
Education, Experience & Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business management or any related field is preferable.
- Approximately 7 years of proven enterprise sales experience gained in a high-tech, IT Consulting or Services company selling to enterprise and strategic accounts.
- Extensive experience of successfully selling into complex accounts with a strong negotiation and closing track record.
- A good understanding of Language and Translation services and the challenges faced within the specific market sectors.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Excellent in-person and phone-based presentation skills.
- Excellent level of proficiency with MS Office Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
