We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support the finance department with day-to-day accounting tasks and administrative duties. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily bookkeeping and data entry in accounting systems (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and expense claims.
- Reconcile bank statements and supplier statements.
- Assist in preparing VAT filings and other compliance-related documentation (in accordance with UAE regulations).
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
- Liaise with vendors, clients, and auditors as required.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience (UAE experience is a plus).
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks).
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
