Mira construction is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to take full responsibility for managing a construction project mechanical part from start to finish. The successful candidate will lead projects, provide technical expertise, and mentor junior engineers to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects.
The work-format: on-site (Project Office, Construction Site)
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components, from concept to final product implementation.
- Conduct engineering analysis, calculations, and simulations to ensure the integrity and performance of mechanical designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to integrate mechanical systems with overall product designs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, assisting with problem-solving and professional development.
- Perform hands-on testing and validation of mechanical designs, including prototype fabrication and testing.
- Stay current with industry trends, standards, and best practices in mechanical engineering, and apply them to project designs and processes.
- Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source components and materials for mechanical systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for mechanical designs and products.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on product design and development.
- Proficiency in CAD software and Revit (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and finite element analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to design and optimize mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to mechanical engineering, such as ASME, ANSI, and ISO.
- Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA)principles.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) software and processes.
- Professional engineering (PE) license is a plus.
