- Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery to meet project schedules and required receiving date at site
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to expedite materials. ensuring compliance with client standards.
- Monitor the progress of orders placed until final delivery at site locations.
- Review production schedules, manufacturing processes, and supplier capabilities to prevent delays
- Regularly communicate with suppliers to obtain updates on production schedules and identify any potential bottlenecks.
- Visit supplier and vendor facilities, as needed, to monitor the progress of manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor critical path items and ensure suppliers meet milestones as per the project schedule.
- Address delays, discrepancies, or quality issues.
- Maintain accurate records of material deliveries, shipment status, and supplier performance.
- Create and maintain comprehensive Reports for all expediting activities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and client standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, logistics, quality control) to resolve any issues or challenges
- Support project management teams with logistics and schedule updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management
- 7-10 years of experience in expediting within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and contractors.
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluent in English – Arabic is a plus
