The Sales Director for Cloudcom will be responsible for developing and executing the overall sales strategy locally and globally, driving revenue growth, and expanding market presence for our Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS) solutions. This position will oversee and build the sales team, establish partnerships, and collaborate closely with product, R&D and marketing teams to achieve organizational targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Develop, implement, and refine the sales strategy for cloudcom.
  • Set annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.

 Team Management & Development

  • Lead, mentor, motivate, and build a high-performing local and global sales team structure.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new sales professionals to maintain a robust talent pipeline.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and skill development programs.

 Revenue Growth & Market Expansion

  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and alliances to expand CPaaS adoption.
  • Oversee complex deal negotiations and contract development with key enterprise clients.

 Sales Operations & Forecasting

  • Monitor sales pipeline, forecast accuracy, and performance metrics (e.g., conversion rates, average deal size, etc.).
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure consistent reporting and accurate revenue projections.

 Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Foster strong relationships with strategic accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Coordinate with product and marketing teams to align offerings with market needs, gather feedback, and propose product enhancements.

 Compliance & Best Practices

  • Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal compliance frameworks within the sales process.
  • Continuously refine sales processes, tools, and methodologies for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

1.     Degree of Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is a plus.

2.     Total Working Experience

12+ years of overall experience in sales, business development, or related fields.

3.     Total Experience in Field

6+ years of direct experience in CPaaS, SaaS, cloud communications, or related technology sectors.

4.     Qualifications Necessary for the Vacancy

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a B2B environment.

Excellent direct connections with decision-making positions in Banking, Telecom, E-commerce, Fintech, and government sectors locally and globally (MENA and GULF – KSA & UAE).

Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performance sales teams.

Strong understanding of CPaaS or related cloud communication platforms.

5.     Set of Skills Necessary for the Vacancy

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Advanced negotiation, presentation, and account management capabilities.

Analytical mindset with the ability to forecast and analyze sales data for strategic decision-making.

High-level proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales management tools.

6.     Specific Degrees, Certifications, etc. Needed for the Vacancy

Bachelor’s degree (mandatory); MBA or equivalent (preferred).

Professional certifications in sales (e.g., Certified Sales Leadership Professional) or relevant fields (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Google Cloud certifications) are advantageous.
