Crowne Plaza West Cairo - Arkan the 178-room new build forms part of Phase II of Arkan Plaza. The Hotel is 10 minutes away from the “new” Grand Egyptian Museum and 15 minutes from the Great Pyramids of Giza. It is also in close proximity to Cairo International Airport and will be just 10 kilometers away from Sphinx International Airport. Business and leisure travelers can get the best of both worlds with three meeting rooms and a business center along with an outdoor pool and Club Lounge

We are currently looking for a Reservations Agent to join our amazing team.

Your day to day:

  • Processes reservations by e-mail, telephone and fax.
  • Coordinates / handles all group requirements once group sales lead established and maintain a high level of exposure in hotel, especially during conferences, incentives, etc...
  • Processes reservations from Central Reservations Office, Regional Offices, Inter-Inn reservations and travel agents reservations.
  • Processes cancellations, revisions, and information updated of changes, responsible for correct completion of records and reports.
  • Receives and posts advance daily and dispatches guest receipts regularly.
  • Actively solicit and book business following hotel standards.
  • Ensure Brand Standards are always followed.
  • Prepare revenue related reports when requested.
  • Reconfirms bookings, ensures that correct guest names are received, and checks arrival times, rates and all other information on the bookings.
  • Organise traces for follow up.
  • Ensure work files are kept organised and current with all required information.
  • Monitor and handle inquiry calls on a timely basis.
  • Ensure that all incoming calls are answered within 3 rings with proper greetings and telephone etiquette.
  • Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond accurately to any guest inquiry.
  • Promotes and up sells all Food and Beverage and Banqueting facilities whenever possible.

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • 1+ years of similar experience is preferred
  • Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/ loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently.
  • Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests, clients and employees.
