Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park, is looking for a dedicated Receiving Clerk to join their extraordinary team! Ideally located in the heart of Dubai Science Park, in the most sought after residential area of Dubai. Minutes away from mega malls, magnificent Jumeirah Beaches, world’s leading tourist attractions and Parks, auto drome and over 5 championship golf courses. The newly opened Holiday Inn & Suites at Dubai Science Park includes 240 hotel rooms and suites and 84 one-bedroom apartments, anchor F&B offerings and an extensive 1026sqm cutting-edge meeting and events facilities.

Your day to day

• Check and count all goods to be received per approved purchase order
• Ensure that goods are in order, of good quality and according to the established specifications
• Reject all goods which do not meet the specifications
• Move accepted products to storage areas immediately to minimize employee theft and deterioration of product quality
• Ensure proper documentation on all goods delivered to the hotel as well as those returned to the suppliers
• Summarize and record all goods purchased by the hotel on a daily basis
• Ensure the cleanliness of the Receiving Bay by liaison with Stewarding Staff whenever cleaning is required
• Be well versed in all descriptions and types of operating equipment for the Hotel, including maintaining catalogues, sample pictures of such items for reference
  
  

What We Need From You

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:

• Demonstrated experience in a stores/receiving related position is advantageous
• Computer savvy with basic financial knowledge
• A passionate team player, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workloads
• Good communication skills
• Strong organisational, time management and logistical skills
• Good physical stamina to lift and handle goods and supplies up to 20kg
