Abbott Established Pharmaceuticals Division is looking for a Country Manager based in Cairo, Egypt.

The Opportunity

Manages teams with focus on policy and strategy implementation and control rather than development.

• Direct all aspects of the day-to-day operations in a country/local organisation to ensure efficiency and performance in accordance with the corporate objectives, strategy and plans.
• Oversee, monitor, and evaluate the operation's performance.
• Direct the preparation of operating budgets and proposals for capital expenditure and investments in infrastructure, technology, equipment, systems, or other assets and resources, analyse and approve operational investments that best meet the organisation's business needs.
• Oversee the opening or closing of facilities and the operational aspects of mergers and acquisitions so that these activities are completed on time and within budget and with minimal disruption to the organisation's day-to-day operations.
• Lead, guide, evaluate, and develop a team of senior managers with operational responsibilities to ensure that the organisation achieves it business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws.
  
  

Requirements

• Healthcare commercial experience (5-10 years) and people leadership experience across the key aspects of the industry from a base in marketing and sales (they will have field experience).
• An innovative and creative thinker he/she will understand and value brand development.
• Overall, he/she will be highly ethical and passionate about the industry and its importance in society. They are able to manage by influence, enthusing regional and affiliate management with the potential of the business and the market
