Java Development Head

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Qesm Heliopolis for a Java Head of Development at Santechture. As the Java Head of Development, you will be responsible for heading the development process of Java-based applications, from conception to delivery. You will collaborate with teams to identify business opportunities, create strategic plans for development, and oversee the development process, to ensure that projects meet both user and business requirements. You will also be responsible for mentoring and coaching developers, overseeing software architecture, and driving innovation.

Job Requirements:

A] Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Deep experience in building highly scalable systems based on Java technologies.
• Extended experience in agile software development life cycle, practices, and tools (coding standards, code reviews, source code management, build processes, QA)
• Deep understanding of the Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processes and best practices is highly desirable.

B] Technical Knowledge & Experience:

• Excellent Java programming and debugging skills, must be proficient in Java development and should have deep experience working with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and others.
• 8+ years ’of work experience in the GCC markets, out of which 5 years in a senior level role is a must.
• Advanced working knowledge with cloud solutions and Software as a Service (SaaS), technologies and platforms.
• Experience in building RESTful APIs and Web Services, and deploying applications that run across multiple devices or platforms.
• Demonstrated success defining, launching, and maintaining software products.
• Strong leadership and managerial abilities, with a track record of successfully leading a team of software developers.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate keen attention to details
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure and be able to prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder communication.
• Project management skills are essential.
• Experience with implementing Healthcare Information System (HIS) and Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) solutions is highly desired.
• Good knowledge in the healthcare/ insurance sector in UAE or KSA would be highly preferred.
