o Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
o Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
o Ensure that each team member is fully engaged and making a meaningful contribution.
o Facilitate getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
o Facilitate discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution
o Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments
o Collaborate with the team in scheduling work, including defect remediation and refactoring, guarding against the accumulation of technical debt.
o Partner with the leadership in managing expectations for outcomes, stakeholder communications, and working with the scrum team(s).
o Be able to plan and facilitate the following ceremonies: daily stand-up, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives,
o Collaborate closely with project leads: enhancing team communication, improving team morale, ensuring cross-dependencies are known, clarifying the product vision
o Helping the product owner/project lead and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
o Champion continuous improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile/Scrum frameworks. Ensure changes and strategies that are generated by scrum retrospectives are implemented.
o Support the product owner/project lead and provide education/training where needed
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Min. of 3 years of relevant experience (Business and/or Software environment)
• 3-5 years of proven experience working with Software development teams in Software Environment, with at least 1 year as Scrum Master for a software development team using Agile/Scrum/Kanban principles and practices
• Scrum/Agile certification is a plus.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams working across several time zones
• Excellent skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency on project delivery timelines
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment
• Experience with successful Agile techniques
• Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
• Must have experience using Atlassian tools including Jira, Jira Agile, and Confluence to manage backlogs, burndowns, and team collaboration
• Must be self-motivated, dedicated and have the ability and desire to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Excellent Analytical and Problem-solving skills
• Must be a self-starter and can work independently on diverse problems
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• US-time zone working hours
