Purpose of the Job :

 

The main objective of theIT Associate Product Manager is to be part of the global logistics IT product team with knowledge & ownership of all Logistics IT products & solutions offered to all Aramex internal or external clients.

 

  Role & Responsibility

 

  • Facilitate meeting and discussion with business & operational decision makers, internal and external system/product specialists, vendors, solution providers and end users.
  • Define functional and non-function business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Analyze all business processes and suggest system processes to fulfill operational requirements.
  • Own all product documentations and ensure all projects & developments are complied with pre-defined set of documentation rules.
  • Lead design sessions workshops for mapping, wireframing & prototyping new applications or systems as part of new or enhancing existing business processes, operations, and information process flows.
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing application or system
  • Support all IT Projects and be part of project team in developing strategies for improving or further leveraging these application/systems.
  • Identify and establish scope of applications/systems analysis in order to define acceptance and success criteria.
  • Participate in periodic status meetings and other supportive activities for the project
  • Collaborate in the plan, design, development and deployment of new applications/systems, and enhancement to existing applications
  • Conduct research and analysis on software products to justify and support business cases and investment efforts.
  • Support project leaders in manage and controlling delivery scope ensuring that project change management procedures are followed.
     

Education, Experience & Skills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology related fields (computer science, engineering, Information Technology)
  • 2 years of experience in business system analysis
  • Microsoft SQL database- T-SQL/ SSIS & SSRS is a must.
  • A year of experience in Logistics & Warehousing or e-commerce industry
  • A year of experience in any Warehouse Management Systems (Infor WMS is a plus)
  • Knowledge in system integrations and building APIs
  • Knowledge in building dashboards & reports
  • Experience in any order management system is a plus.
  • Accounting knowledge- SAP or any ERP is a plus.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce & marketplace solutions are a plus
  • Knowledge of last mile delivery systems or partners is a plus
  • Solid experience across the full project management and software development life cycle
  • Proven experience of working in a delivery-focus business analysis role
  • Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Solid experience of delivery using Waterfall and Agile (or Hybrid) project management methodology and scrum development approach.
  • Experience in being a support desk team member which has defined SLAs & KPIs
  • Excellent communication skills internally and externally with customers or operational end users
  • Good listening and interpersonal skills & attention to details.
