What You Will Be Doing

Assist the HSEI Manager in the health, safety, and environment aspects.

• Implement health, safety, environmental plan and emergency plan according the HSEI policy and objectives.
• Constantly keep employees and sub-contractors aware of the risks with a strong daily presence onsite.
• Assist all departments in implementation of H&S compliance.
• Apply the site Health & Safety, Environmental rules, instructions, and procedures.
• Observe work in progress, ensure that proper safety equipment is used, and procedures are followed.
• Apply and follow up on the subcontractor prevention plan.
• Attend pre-job safety meeting on special jobs (Confined space - Working at height – Hot work)
• Follow isolation procedure implementation with regular auditing.
• Assist on updating the Risk assessment & the SMP & SOP (Safety precaution).
• Conduct safety induction (Visitors – New employees).
• Check and maintain safety signs in good condition.
• Inspect the workshop equipment (Drilling machines - Grinders - pumps .. etc )
• Check and organize the (Laboratory - Combustible Materials) stores depend on hazards.
• Check safety equipment (Daily- Monthly) and submit monthly inspection report
  
  

Who We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering – Mechanical/Electrical
• From 4 to 6 years in the same field.
• Excellent command of English is a must.
• Strong communicator with good working methods, well organized.
• Principles, practices, and applicable equipment related to industrial safety, hygiene, and hazardous waste management
• Standard occupational hazards, including accident analysis and prevention techniques.
• Good written and spoken communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Wastewater treatment risks.
• Car driving license is a must.
